Year 12 Presentation Evening
Friday 19 October 2018 at the Rendezvous Grand Hotel Perth, The Esplanade, Scarborough, commencing at 7:00pm sharp. More details and ticket order form available here.

2018 Specialist Sports Presentation Night
Monday 22 October at the Italian Club, Perth. Doors open at 6.25pm followed by a light supper, presentation will commence at 7:00pm. More details and ticket order form available here.

Year 7 Cricket v Kent Street Senior High School

Wednesday 17 October 2018. Students to implement match play and interpersonal skills at different grounds and playing conditions.  Students to wear Cricket Academy shirt, whites, hat and cricket equipment.  Students to bring lunch and a water bottle.  Permission slip available here.

Tennis Matchplay Day - Single Championship

Thursday 18 October 2018. Students will have the opportunity to further expand their skill development, self- management and interpersonal skills through participation in Tennis Match play at Robertson Park Tennis Centre. Additionally students will also help with the logistics of operating a Tennis Competition on the day. Depart College 9:00am, return to College 2:45pm. Students to wear Specialist tennis shirt, bring hat, tennis racquet, lunch and water bottle. Permission slips available here.

Year 7 Lightning Carnival

Friday 26 October 2018. Students will participate in match play in an interschool
competition to develop skills learnt in physical education
classes. Students will have the opportunity to develop self-management
and interpersonal skills. Students to wear Phys Ed Uniform (White shirt) and bring water bottle, lunch,
hat, raincoat, protective equipment (shinpads / mouth
guard etc as sport required), and appropriate footwear for sport. Permission slip available here.

Year 8 AEP - Literature Workshop

Friday 2 November 2018.
Students will complete a workshop on a picture book - looking at drafts, research material, photographs, storyboards, dummy books and preliminary artwork. Permission slips available here.

Year 9 Tennis Training Term 4

Week 2-9, every Thursday during Term 4. Students to improve and further improve tennis techniques at JFSC or Mount Lawley Tennis Club. Depart College 12:30am, return to College 2:55pm.  Students to wear Specialist tennis shirt, bring hat, tennis racquet, lunch and water bottle. Permission slips available here.

Year 9 Cricket Camp

Year 8 Narrogin Cricket Camp

Tuesday 20 - Thursday 22 November 2018.  Depart College 6am; return to College 5.30pm.  Please see permission slip for proposed itinerary and student requirements.  Permission slip available here.

Year 8-12 Busselton Tennis Camp

Tuesday 27 - Friday 30 November 2018. Students will further develop their Tennis Skills, self-management skills, interpersonal skills and team building.  See permission slip for itinerary and items required to bring.  Permission slip available here.

Brisbane Cricket Trip

Saturday 1 to Friday 7 December 2018. The Brisbane Cricket Trip 2018 involves playing cricket against students from across Australia. Enable students to demonstrate the skills they have acquired in friendly competition with other schools. The students will also demonstrate and improve their self-management and interpersonal skills.  Permission slip available here.

Sri Lanka Cricket Tour 2019

Tuesday 9 April - 23 April 2019.  A call for expressions of interest from students who will be in Year 11 and Year 12 in 2019 to participate in the above international excursion.  Expression of Interest form available here.

 

Australian Open Tour 2020

Sunday 12 to Friday 17 January 2020. Tennis Academy students are invited to travel to Melbourne in January 2020 to experience the Australian Open Tennis Tournament.  The excursion will include two days at the Australian Open including tickets to Rod Laver Arena and visiting local tourist attractions tourist attractions. The excursion will provide students with the opportunity to develop their tennis skills in an interstate environment.  This will also be a great opportunity for students to improve their interpersonal and self management skills.   Permission slip available here.

2018 Australian International Model Solar Challenge

Friday 7-9 December 2018. Engineering Club students are invited to travel to Sydney to part in the International Model Solar Challenge. students with an opportunity to
race the cars they have built/are building against students from other interstate and overseas
schools. The trip will help extend the students STEM education and provide an invaluable
experience. This will also be a great opportunity for students to improve their interpersonal and
