Couple of dropped catches proved costly, with Kent Street at 2/150 from 27 over a score over 300 seemed likely, but thanks to some tight bowling from Cameron Todd and some good fielding we kept them to 268, still a big score.

We started strongly and at 0/42 from 4 overs with Ryleigh Cameron and Lane Berry batting beautifully the first rain delay came at the wrong time for us. Ryleigh holed out caught on the mid wicket boundary first ball after the delay. Lane with Cameron Todd, then Jake Egan kept ahead of the run rate but lost wickets just as partnerships where building. At 4/152 from 27.5 the second rain delay came. After over an hours delay the umpires set the target as 216 to win from 41 overs. We lost 3 wickets quickly as the batsmen failed to adjust to the wet ball skidding on. Jack Coles and Jayden Cappeau then took the score to 205 by playing straight and running hard. Jack missed a straight on to be LBW with 11 needed to win. Harshit joined Jayden (who made a very mature 17 not out from 18 balls under extreme pressure) and they batted the side to a win when Harshit hit a lovely square drive to the WACA fence.
