Solar Car Challenge 2021

On Thursday 28 and Friday 29 October students from the Engineering Club competed in the Infinite Energy Solar Car Challenge against 52 teams from across WA. These competitions were held on Riley oval at UWA.

It was a very trying couple of days with both thick clouds and bright sunlight however the Colleges' teams did very well.

Four of our 7 teams made the finals with "Low and Slow 3", a team consisting of James Wiggens, Ethan Lim, Hugo Paddon Lance Delos Reyes and Levi Guest, taking out 4th place and the "Running Crew", a team consisting of Dan Piliushko, Andrew Ho and Hunter Wills, taking out 2nd place.

Congratulations to the all the teams for their excellent performance and participation on the day.
