AEP YR 7-9's at UWA
On Tuesday 14 August, Year 7-9 AEP students were lucky enough to attend a workshop held at the University of Western Australia (UWA) as part of Science Week. The event hosted by the UWA Science Union had the students participate in a range of activities and hand's on displays on science, maths and engineering. The displays included; a Physics display on liquid nitrogen a competition to draw the organs of the body and diagnose a disease run by Anatomy, Health Science had them cleaning up a "toxic spill" while Engineering had the students build a tower from marshmallows and spaghetti and Agriculture had the students identify various types of grains and agricultural products.
