Inter-house Athletics Carnival
We look forward to events that bring together the whole College and the Inter-House Athletics Carnival is one of those events.
Despite the wet weather leading up to the 31 August, Friday was clear skies and sunshine perfect Athletics Carnival weather. It was great to see students dressed up in their house colours to show support, even see students participating in races while dressed in a onesie, that pure dedication and skill. Athletics Carnival day is always a busy day buzzing with fun.
Between sporting events the student prefects hosted a sausage sizzle and sold pizzas to raise funds for Rebound WA. Thanks to the support of staff and students, the prefects were able to donate $500 to the charity and the money will provide an entry level sports wheelchair that will help a physically disabled person participate in Wheelchair Basketball. Fantastic!
Congratulations to those students who attended and competed so well. It was great to see students just giving it their best effort.
