YR 7-8 STUDENTS ROCKING THE RINK

The Year 7 and 8 Enrichment class had fun on the ice skating rink on Tuesday 26 June. Showing off their skills and bravery, even Mrs Gatti and Mr Marrs had a few tricks on the ice that impressed the students.

After a couple of hours of skating, students thawed out in the beautiful sunshine at Whiteman park while participating in team building activities. Mrs Gatti had students laughing as they tried to run a team relay while swinging a holla hoop around their waist. Think that is a challenge, how about an egg and spoon race on your knees? Yep they did that too. Definitely some great team work among the students.

To end the day students were rewarded with a sausage sizzle, thanks to Mr Glossop and Ms Zollo. We were impressed to see all the students overcoming their fear and giving it their best on the ice.
