NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK 2018
National Reconciliation Week is 27 May to the 3 June 2018. National Reconciliation Week gives us an opportunity to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and participate in activities that brings Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people together with other Australians. The theme for this year is "Don't Keep History A Mystery: Learn. Share. Grow".
For Reconciliation Week this year we have created our very own Sea of Hands to represent our growth and celebration. Students have been busy designing and creating hand prints to be on display at the entry of the College for their fellow peers, teachers and families to admire. The Sea of Hands features over 150 hand prints each different and unique just like our students, but put them all together. Wow.
We are amazed by our Sea of Hands and the work that has gone into making it possible. Well done and thank you to everyone evolved.
This activity is also a great representation of our inclusiveness and diversity as a College, something which we are very proud of.
