Cricket Academy Day 2019

The JFSC Cricket Academy rounded off Semester One with the annual Cricket Academy Day. Over 80 students travelled to Revolution Sports on Friday 28 June for a day full of Indoor Soccer, Handball and Floorball.

Year 11 team leaders compiled teams made up of students from each year group. These teams worked together to not only compete in sports less familiar to them, but also to build and promote a greater unity and camaraderie within the Cricket Academy. Year 11 students then ran the day's events, managing the different teams, game fixtures, maintain score sheets and umpiring each game.

This was an immensely enjoyable day for all involved where teamwork was prevalent and new friendships between the various year groups were formed.
