College Community shows its big heart for Foodbank

The JFSC Community has shown its generous heart again as the 2019 Foodbank Schools Winter Appeal wrapped up last week. It was another fantastic effort with over 950 items collected by our college community – the best year yet!

On Tuesday 13 August the form classes who collected the most items battled it out to build the tallest tower out of the donated items they collected. It was a fierce and close competition with Form 11:03 victorious even though they had the second least amount of donated items.

Once again it was another fantastic effort by the College community in this year's Foodbank Schools Winter Appeal.  It's wonderful to be able to give back to an organisation who donates food each week to the College's Breakfast Club. Thank you to everyone that donated.  Your generosity will make a big difference to many lives this winter.
