Junior Music Concert 2019

On Friday 15 November the College held its annual Junior Music Concert.

The Year 6 Band, Year 6 Guitar Ensemble, Year 6 Choir, Jazz Band, Vocal Ensemble, Junior Electric Guitar Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble (Table Tappers), Year 8 Choir, Year 9 Choir, Junior Classical Guitar Ensemble and Junior Band entertained the audience with pieces from a wide variety of musical genres.

Congratulations to all performers on a wonderful evening. Special mention to the Year 6s for whom the Junior Music Concert was their first performance at JFSC.

Special thank you to conductors Mayuka Juber, Stephanie Thyer, Riley Byfield, Emily Ruddock, Jacqui Edwick, Elizabeth Lyon, Simon Jeans and Graham Hall for their guidance and expertise both in the lead up to and during the concert. Thanks also to Cathy Sutherland for the Piano Accompaniment, as well as Phil Chadwick (Front of House), Nathan Pham, Faith Pitchen and Namphuong Nguyen (Back Stage), and Phil Glossop (Refreshments) for their assistance on the night.
