The Academic Quest 2018
During Term 4 2018 six JFSC Students participated in Brainways Education's 'The Academic Quest'.
The students learned advanced content in Humanities, Mathematics and Science. They then used this content to complete a challenge for each learning area. One of our teams, consisting of Gabrielle Bishop, Carma Norton and Josie Simmonds-Lacey placed 1st in the Humanities challenge and 3rd overall for Perth.
This qualified them to compete in the National Final, which took place in Brisbane but we competed online. The students completed the final on Saturday 8 December 2018 and we are pleased to announce that the students placed 3rd in all three learning areas which gave them an overall place of 2nd in the National Final. The students have done exceptionally well and should be very proud of their achievement. Congratulations Gabrielle, Carma and Josie.
