SSWA Netball Carnivals

Term 2 started with a bang for the Netball Specialist Students as they participated in the SSWA Champion Schools Netball Carnivals. The first stage of this competition was held over separate carnival days, both North and South of the Perth CBD. To accommodate the 10 JFSC Teams competing, five teams competed in the North and South Carnival days.

The South Carnival was held on Thursday 2 May at Fremantle Netball Association. The results reflect consistent effort by all JFSC teams. All teams won games and were ranked third or fourth in their respective fixtures. Unfortunately, none of the JFSC teams progressed onto an inter-zone final however staff were impressed by the performance of all teams given that the South Carnival has the reputation of being very challenging.

The North Carnival was held on Tuesday 7 May at Perth Netball Association. All JFSC teams performed extremely well and progressed onto an inter-zone round except for the Year 10 Team 1 who just missed out.
