Taste of the Trenches

During Term 1 Mr Grzejszczyk's Year 9 HASS Class have been studying World War One as part of their History unit. On Tuesday 12 March this study took a tasty turn as students were introduced to a variety of different foods that would have been available to ANZAC Solders in the trenches. Modern versions of "Bully Beef" (Tinned Corned Beef and Beef Stew) and SAO Biscuits were on offer as students sampled these delicacies and gained a deeper understanding of the different elements of the culinary aspects of war.
