Year 7 Cricket Camp 2019
During week 3 the Year 7 Cricketers embarked on their first camp at JFSC – the Year 7 Cricket Camp.
During this camp our students competed in a friendly Indoor Cricket competition against Belridge Secondary College and Kent Street Senior High School. This was a great opportunity for the students to experience the game of cricket in a different format to the usual summer season. The two days of competition allowed students to not only interact and develop friendships with students from the other schools but also hone their personal cricket skills and develop a greater team bond ahead of cricket games recommencing in Term 4.
All students played well and represented the College fabulously.
"There was nice dorms and nice food. We went to the Cricket Indoor Centre and played 8 hours on Thursday and 6 hours of Friday. The Yellow JFSC Team came fifth and Blue came sixth. My highlight of the camp was when I got 4 wickets in a row." – Blake S
