Students find Cloudstreet a feast for the senses

On Sunday 8 March the Year 11/12 General Drama class went to His Majesty’s Theatre to see Matthew Lutton’s interpretation of Tim Winton’s classic Australian story Cloudstreet. 

The performance was a spectacular assault on the senses and kept audiences intrigued and surprised throughout the 5-hour performance.  A highlight was seeing the stage floor fill with water to create a river that reflected shadows and lights to create an eerie atmosphere.

This excursion will make up part of the student’s review assessment task and after this experience they look forward to going to see another performance.
