Year 10's Think Ahead

On Wednesday of Week 4, a group of Year 10s students headed out to the City of Perth Library for the ABCN Future Thinkers program with employees of American Express. The ABCN Future Thinkers program aims to develop creative problem-solving skills and leadership through the process of design thinking. The program, one of a few in person this year, involves small groups of students working with industry mentors to design solutions to a given problem. Through the duration of the program, students empathised to define a problem, designed a solution, created a prototype and presented their ideas to other participants.

It was a fantastic opportunity to develop transferable skills for the future, including problem solving, critical thinking and judgement skills.
