"What do you do with an idea?"

John Forrest Secondary College has extended its successful Masterclass series from Years 5 and 6 into Year 7. Top students were selected by Year 7 teachers of Maths, English, HASS and Science to participate in a hybrid class based on Idea Development. Students have investigated people with great ideas, clarified the definition and process of idea development whilst learning useful and effective study techniques. Students are now focussed on independently or collaboratively developing their own idea and working toward presenting them to the wider John Forrest Community early in Term 3. Students understand that great ideas can change the world and even small ideas can change their world for the better. Students have demonstrated high levels of aspiration, endeavour and integrity so far, values that are integral to the positive functioning of our College community.
