Netballers bounce into Term 3

Netballers from Years 7 to 10 started Term 3 off on the right foot with an excursion to Bouncer Joondalup to further their Netball skills.

Playing in mixed teams, students competed in a mini fixture of netball alternative off the nets. This not only allowed students to hone their netball skills but also to be challenged tactically in different scenarios. It was also a great opportunity to socialise across the different year levels.

It was an enjoyable and fun way to play netball and a way to get to know other team mates. It has a fast and simple games with lovely courts that made it enjoyable for all. – Trisna S

It was a fun and enjoyable experience to be able to try a different version of netball, and how the ground was carpet not wood was unique and different. – Charlee S

It was a different experience for most girls. But what I liked most about the day was that it was the games were continuous, you could throw the ball at the net and that the teams were mixed. – Janelle T

It was a fun experience to play off the nets and netball with mixed teams of year sevens and eights. – Maddi P

It was a great way to expand on our netball skills and develop friendships with players. – Amber E

I found playing at Bouncer Joondalup very relaxing and fun because I was playing with all my friends and we didn't take it very seriously. – Georgia G

As a leader I found it easy to cooperate with my team members as it allowed us to explore our age groups abilities on the court and things ran smoothly. – Jenelle A

I had quite a bit of fun, I loved playing with the mixed teams and being able to bounce off the nets. It was great wearing the netball dresses again. – Rosie B
