Happy Boxes Project
In our Year 7 Health program, students have put together a variety of Happy Boxes. Happy Boxes are boxes full of hygiene products including toiletry, sanitary and luxury items. The boxes are aimed at women and children living in rural and remote parts of Australia who do not have access to these necessities. Across 3 weeks, students and families donated enough products to make over 40 gift bags.
The happy boxes are full of hygiene products from toothbrushes to sanitary pads and tampons. This is a great way to help kids in need stay hygienic and healthy. - Zaeya
I think the Happy Boxes project was a fun project to do for the students and a great idea because it helps people living in remote areas around Australia, it also lets them know what essential items are and how to use them for their hygiene. It will also give them an understanding of why these products are so important and how it helps their body keep fresh and clean. This donation will also change their lifestyle of living before and after receiving these products. - Bhavisha
I feel that the happy boxes project is a fantastic way to provide people living in tougher conditions with essential hygiene products. This helps us realize that a small donation such as lip balm, could go a long way. - Nina
