Junior Music Concert 2021

On Friday 19 November the annual Junior Music Concert took place in the College Gym to a standing-room-only packed house. It was a jam-packed evening with all performers demonstrating a level of improvement over the year which is of great credit to themselves and their classroom and instrumental teachers.

Year 11 MC's Apollonas Reisis and Tommy Gannaway hosted the event with good humour and great skill. They even included a Greek-style Dance-off between themselves and the audience during set changes.

These nights would not be possible without the amazing support of the JFSC Staff both before and on the night. Special mention to Alistair Cummings and Elizabeth Harrid for backstage support, Angela Trees and Phil Chadwick for front of house, and to music teachers Courtney Podmore, Katie How, Riley Byfield, Jacqui Edwick, Graham Hall, Robin Hillier, Simon Jeans, Lynda Luce, Elizabeth Lyon, James Martin, Amy Nordsvan, Emily Ruddock, Mayuka Juber and Kathy Younger for their knowledge and support in the lead up to the performance as well as on the night.
