Year 7s have a scaly time
On Monday November 15, the Year 7 Science Enrichment class visited the Western Australian Reptile Park located in Henley Brook.
The first activity we did was to look around at the different animal enclosures and that was fun!
Then we got taught by the guide how to treat ourselves if we ever got bitten by a venomous snake.
We learnt about Bobtails lizards. Bobtail lizards eat snails, bananas, fruits, and salads, so that means they are secondary consumers in the food chain because they eat snails as well as plant material. We were then allowed to hold the Bobtail lizards and Snakes.
That was a lot of fun, and we really enjoyed the day.
