A Day of Fun for Year 7

On Friday the 26^th February our Year 7 students enjoyed a fun filled activity day to build confidence, develop team building skills, create new friendships and to get to know their Form teachers. The morning session had students participating in a number of different activities such as Bubble Soccer, Catch the Flag which students have been developing in their Physical Education classes, Silent Disco and "Minute to Win it". It was fantastic to see the students participating with big smiles on their faces and supporting one another.

The afternoon session was at the Roller Drome. Students were very well behaved walking to and from the Roller Drome. We had experienced and inexperienced skaters on the rink.  It was great to see the non-skaters give it a go and the stronger experienced students assisting. Even a couple of teachers donned the skates and showed their expertise. I received excellent feedback from students saying they thoroughly enjoyed the day.
