CARAD Food Appeal

For the second year running many Year 9 students have been set the task of raising money for the CARAD by doing various fundraising activities. The CARAD organisation aid refugees and asylum seekers in Perth.

Two students, Vinnie and Nasir, have used their entrepreneurial skills to kick start the fundraising efforts. The boys were able to raise in excess of $145.00 and then went on a shopping spree, chasing down food specials. What a haul they achieved!

The food donations are due mid-September. The food items will be collected at the end of the term by volunteers with the CARAD organisation.

What a great way for the students to display active citizenship for the community. Well done boys!
