Harmony Week 2022

To mark Harmony Week this year the College has come together through a variety of events to celebrate our diverse and vibrant multicultural community.

At the beginning of Term one students were invited to submit recipes which would go in the running to be selected for the City of Bayswater's "Harmony Day Cookbook". This collaboration between the City of Bayswater and the College aimed to celebrate the amazing community we are privileged to be a part of. 24 recipes were selected and the cookbook was launched on Monday 21 March 2022. All Students involved were presented with a copy of the book by the Mayor along with a $50 Voucher to the College Canteen. A digital copy of the cookbook is also available here.

On Tuesday students and staff were invited to dress in either orange or multicultural dress to mark Harmony Day. It was fantastic to see the wide range of backgrounds our college community comes from displayed in such a colourful way.

The Asian Culture Club have created a short video this term for Harmony Week celebrating our amazing college community. This video is available to be viewed in this article's gallery.

The College's Canteen also marked the week by offering 1000 handmade biscuits to canteen customers throughout the week. These were such a hit that they had all gone within the first few days.

Thank you again to all the staff and students who have made this an amazing Harmony Week.
