Parliament House visit provides Leadership insight
The Head Prefects were invited to lunch with Lisa Baker MLA at Parliament House on Thursday 11 August 2022.
It was a fantastic opportunity to hear about the roles of members of the Legislative Assembly and the practices of the State Parliament. Much was discussed over lunch, from the member's leadership journey, personal experiences and our own career prospects. It was wonderful to hear of Lisa Baker's journey as a parliamentarian and her passion for social justice.
We've brought away new insights into leadership practice that we may then apply to our role on the Prefect Council and integrate into our future careers.
