Multicultural Netball Carnival 2021

On Friday 27 August select students travelled to Perth Netball Centre to compete in the annual Multicultural Netball Carnival. The aim of this one-day school based carnival is to promote participation and engage players from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds and celebrate Western Australia's cultural diversity.

JFSC had two teams participating, a Year 7/8 team and a Year 9/10/11 team. Both teams competed well in their respective fixtures. The Year 9/10/11 team were challenged and played closely contested games. The Year 7/8 team were very competitive, outplaying all opponents with big winning margins. Congratulations to our Year 7/8 team for winning the Year 7/8 Green division.

The focus of the carnival was very much participation as opposing teams enjoyed social interactions and learning about each other's schools and backgrounds.
