ANZAC Day Assembly 2026

The John Forrest Secondary College ANZAC Assembly was held in the gym on Friday 24 April 2026.

It was attended by the Honorable Patrick Gorman - Federal Member for Perth, Mr Dan Bull - Member for Maylands; Mayor Filomena Piffaretti from the City of Bayswater; Major Stephen Muir, from the Army Museum of WA, Mr Phillip Utting & Mrs Faye Utting, Secretary, Bedford / Morley RSL of Western Australia, and Ms Emma O'Neil, Chairperson of the John Forrest Secondary College Board, as well as staff and students.

Major Stephen Muir gave the keynote speech and set a challenge for all John Forrest students, who are the leaders and influencers of tomorrow. He said, "I'm told that your College values are respect, courtesy, integrity, aspiration and endeavour. These are admirable qualities, not just words. The ANZACs demonstrated these values and continue to do so today, and I want to ask you to use these values to change the world."
