Year 7 & 8 Fremantle Literature Centre

Young Writers Collective at The Literature Centre in Fremantle offers an open and encouraging space for young writers to learn from award-winning Australian authors.

This term, our Year 7 and 8 English students immersed themselves in interactive writing exercises and spent the day creating, collaborating and editing with WA's Sarah Winifred Searle, an award-winning author, illustrator and cartoonist.

Students were given an insight into the making of a comic, and were challenged to create a Recipe Comic, to engage all the reader's senses.
